How it works: each day’s SPX cash close sets the strikes. Select the nearest listed call above and put below the adjustable percentage, both with the first available SPXW expiry strictly after that date. Strikes are rounded to available listings; actual distances appear in the selected pair.

Market change: that session’s SPX cash close minus the previous completed session’s close. Percentage change is the point change divided by the previous close. Positive moves are green and negative moves are red.

Budget used %: combined call + put contract cost ÷ your budget × 100. A $600 pair against a $700 budget uses 85.71%. A zero budget or missing pair price displays —.

At SPX 7,000 and 0.70%: roughly 7,050C + 6,950P. A $3 call + $3 put = $6 premium points × 100 = $600 together, before fees.

Prices are last trades within the final one-minute interval before the cash close (normally 15:59–16:00 ET; half-days use their early close). Both legs must trade in that same interval. Trade timestamps within the minute may differ. These are retrospective closing observations, not simultaneous ask quotes, an executable order, or an intraday purchase recommendation. Strike selection uses the final index close, which becomes known after that interval.
