Hunt conditions
A high setup score or an ambitious return target is not a probability, a filled order or proof of a profitable trade.
Worm, Witch and Monster market scan: shared stock/ETF filters, desk-specific ranking and listed-contract selection. Completed intraday candles, current prices, market direction, entry timing, measured liquidity and scored setup evidence decide READY, WATCH or REJECTED. Index-gamma candidates have separate selection rules and must also pass their applicable decision and liquidity checks.
SPXW coach: separate, same-day research. The desk prefers an SPX ATM contract; it does not change strike style by desk. Coach rows stay WATCH because they have not passed the unified Hunt entry requirements.
SPY engines: first-hour and lower-band swing research with their published historical records. Their current panels require timely evidence. The first-hour entry window is 9:30–10:30 ET; a delayed signal does not authorize a current entry. Daily swing readings require a completed, current session close. A historical control test does not validate every option contract or your execution.
Dragon and Mini Dragon: separate option research and retrospective reports. Dragon includes market-wide stock-option discovery and saved contract watches. Mini Dragon publishes its failed validation. Neither provides a validated 10× prediction, automatic orders or delivered exit alerts.
worm
Orderly movers with limited extension.
witch
Confirmed momentum with room remaining.
monster
Fast expansion; a quiet session may correctly return no candidates.

READY needs an observed underlying quote within 30 seconds, fresh completed 5-minute confirmation, direction and entry-location checks, and a verified listed contract. Missing data stays WATCH or REJECTED. Intraday checks are applied by the current scan pipeline; the chart-only ceiling/floor read is separate.
The exact option book must have valid provider event timestamps, at most 10% spread and at least 5 displayed contracts on each side. Stock volume and an option last trade do not establish executable option liquidity.
A setup must also earn PROVEN status from its scored record. See the evidence checklist for session counts, comparisons with other ideas and SPY, and real option-trade coverage. A READY card expires as its scan, price or candle evidence ages. Recheck the book and risk in the order ticket.
Regular session: US equity exchange hours, including supported holidays and early closes. Session-open status does not establish that a feed is live. Premarket/after-hours candidates and closed-market planning rows need fresh regular-session confirmation.
History: suggestions are persisted in the Hunt journal. History separates READY eligibility, WATCH research, rejected suggestions and legacy records, and distinguishes real option trades, unfillable contracts, live observations and model valuations. These are not your fills or realized portfolio returns.
Exit monitoring: desk trackers are device-local paper watches, not verified broker positions. Their premium-based exits require fresh observed bid/ask data and cannot rely on model prices. Dragon watches are saved to the signed-in account and update while its page is open. Page refreshes do not establish background monitoring or notification delivery.
Return targets: +30%, +100%, 3× and 10× describe research targets or measured historical moves. They are not forecasts or promised returns. Earnings direction, trader identities and live short covering are not established by these screens.
